Santa Barbara County Health officials say they have seen a dramatic increase in the number of new COVID cases. According to KSBY, a majority of the new cases are due to people who are unvaccinated. Officials say while 20 percent of the cases are people who have been fully vaccinated. They are not the ones being hospitalized. San Luis Obispo County also saw a 300 percent increase in case numbers.
