The Dixie Fire in Northern California has scorched close to 250,000 acres and Central Coast fire crews have been sent to lend a hand. Strike teams from Santa Maria Lompoc and San Luis Obispo have been sent to the blaze under a mutual aid agreement. Officials say their departments are still staffed to handle any emergency that may happen in their communities. The Dixie Fire was last reported to be 35 percent contained.
