Two expert witnesses testified yesterday in the Preliminary hearing for Paul and Ruben Flores. The two archaeologists were hired by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office to search for the remains of Kristin Smart, who has been missing since 1996. They testified that after finding a “significant soil disturbance” that was “potentially a burial” site, they chased staining that looked similar to a human decomposition stain. The hearing will continue through this week.
