A Paso Robles apartment fire has left 40 people homeless. Officials say the blaze broke out at around 8:15 yesterday morning. When crews arrived, they found flames coming from two of the apartments in an eight-unit building. Two residents were forced to jump from a second-story window to escape the fast-moving fire. They were not injured. The American Red Cross is helping the displaced residents. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
