A non-profit is taking the county of San Luis Obispo to court over a new redistricting map. Last month, San Luis Obispo County Citizens for Good Government announced plans to file suit. Yesterday they put those plans into action and officially filed. The group claims the district map is a violation of the Fair Maps Act and argues it breaks up communities of interest and favors Republican representation.
