Weeks after the judge in the Kristin Smart murder case agreed with defense attorneys for Paul and Ruben Flores to move the case out of San Luis Obispo County, a judge and venue have been announced. The will be held at the Salinas courthouse and Monterey County Superior Court Judge Jennifer O’Keefe will preside. The trial was scheduled to begin on May 31st. So far, according to Monterey County court officials, no case number has been assigned, and no hearings have been scheduled.
