The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call Saturday night. Deputies were sent to investigate a dropped call after dispatchers received no response when they tried to call the number back. Deputies discovered that the phone belonged to the Zoo To You facility. The caller turned out to be a Capuchin monkey named “Route.” Route apparently took the cell phone from the zoo’s golf cart and began pushing buttons, resulting in the 911 call.
