SLO County In Top Five Least Affordable In State To Live

The American Dream of home ownership is slipping away for more San Luis Obispo County residents. According to a new report, San Luis Obispo County is the third least affordable housing market in California. The California Association of Realtors newsletter points out that only 12 percent of SLO County’s residents could afford to purchase a home at the state’s median price of 883,370 dollars. According to the Tribune, only 10 percent of Santa Barbara County residents can afford to become homeowners.
