The Kristin Smart murder trial continued yesterday with Defense attorneys repeatedly questioning the credibility of the cadaver dog handlers. Earlier this week the judge acknowledged Adela Morris was an expert in human remains detection dogs. During a search of Paul Flores’ dorm building in 1996, two of her dogs alerted on Flores’ dorm room and mattress during blind searches. According to the Tribune, a second handler, Wayne Behrens testified that his dog also alerted on Flores’ dorm room and mattress, ignoring his roommate’s side of the room. The trial will resume on Wednesday.
