Paso Robles Pilots Dies In Crash

The NTSB and the FAA are investigating a crash that took the life of a Paso Robles pilot. Aaron Hogue was competing in the Reno Air Races over the weekend when his jet crashed on Sunday. Officials say he was on the third lap of the Jet Gold when his plane lost altitude. Friends say, while he co-owned a knife and firearm attachment company, his true passion was in the air. Aaron Hogue was 61. Earlier this month, pilot Sherman Smoot died in a crash preparing for the Reno Air Races.
