The Kristin Smart murder trial continues this morning. Yesterday, Paul Flores’ defense attorney tried to cast doubt on the testimony of forensic analyst Angela Butler. She had testified that human blood was found on 13 samples collected from under the deck of Ruben Flores. She also testified that no DNA was able to be collected from those samples. The prosecution rested its case. Defense attorneys for Paul and Ruben Flores once again called for dismissal. It was denied. They will begin their cases this morning.
