One person was critically injured in single-vehicle crash just west of Santa Maria last night. CHP investigators say it happened just after 10 o’clock on Highway 166. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle versus a utility pole. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from major injuries. He was airlifted to Cottage Hospital. An investigation is ongoing.
