Fans of the Morro Bay Ironman Triathlon will have to find something else to do next spring. The World Triathlon Corporation hosted the Ironman for the past two years. They were contracted to hold another event in the spring of 2025. However, after 187 swimmers were rescued from rough waters at this year’s event, officials decided to cancel the 2025 event.
