The country’s largest nonprofit blood services provider, Vitalant, says former donors who had traveled to France, Ireland, or the U.K. can once again donate blood. The FDA had placed a restriction on people who lived in or traveled to those countries due to mad cow disease. That restriction was lifted earlier this summer.
