The woman accused of embezzling roughly 32,500 dollars from a high school band booster club wants to avoid going to trial. According to her attorney, Sherry Gong had already repaid about 28,500 dollars of the money taken from the Atascadero High School Band Booster Club when she was first interviewed by police back in April. Her attorney also posted 25,000 dollars bail. According to the Tribune, Gong reiterated that her husband had nothing to do with the case. Sherry Gong is due in court on July 22nd.
