As Southern California residents continued to recover from the effects of recent wildfires, firefighters located the rightful owner of a ring found in the rubble left by the Getty Fire. Last week, a Los Angeles Fire Department crew discovered a small ring box in front of a charred home – inside was a wedding ring encased in a plush, velvet cushion, and at a press conference, last night homeowner Patty Shales said she’s very happy to have the item back.
