A man wanted for felony kidnapping in Ventura County is in custody, but not before holding Paso Robles police at bay for about an hour. Paso P.D. says 39-year-old Manuel Antonio Ordunez Martinez was stopped yesterday morning on Spring Street for a registration violation. When he refused to roll down his window or identify himself, Flamson Middle and Georgia Brown Elementary were both placed on lockdown as a precaution. He was eventually arrested and is facing a charge of resisting arrest. He’ll ultimately be sent back to Ventura County to face the kidnapping charge.
