A proposed housing project making its way to the San Luis Obispo City Council could bring 570 homes for seniors and families. The project would be located on a 116-acre site next to Home Depot no Los Osos Valley Road. The public has a chance to review an environmental impact report. That report shows potential impacts on San Luis Obispo traffic, air quality, views and wildlife, and other concerns. Several hurdles need to be cleared before the project can break ground, including a Planning Commission meeting on December 11th.
