Morro Bay Police are investigating an explosion that sent a man to the hospital earlier this week. Morro Bay Firefighters responded to reports of an explosion at a mobile home park on Monday. When they arrived, there was no active fire, but they did find items used to extract hash oil from marijuana. One person suffered burns to his hands and face. he was transported to an area hospital, then a burn unit in Fresno. No other injuries or property damage was reported. The investigation is ongoing.
