Kids Return To School Amid Rising COVID-19 Numbers

As San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties returned to the purple tier of COVID-19 recovery, students of three SLO County saw students returning to classrooms. Atascadero Unified, San Miguel Joint Union, and Paso Robles Joint Unified school districts saw elementary school students for the first time in several months. According to the Tribune, each district is working to ensure that students have temperatures checked and are symptom-free before entering classrooms. St. Joseph High School students in Orcutt returned to class yesterday after a two-week closure due to a case of COVID-19.
