You may hear a couple of sonic booms tomorrow morning. That’s because SpaceX will be launching a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base tomorrow at 9:17. The rocket will be carrying Sentinel-6 Michael Feilich satellite, the first of two in a ten year mission to measure sea levels. Officials say residents in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo counties could hear multiple sonic booms when the re-usable launch vehicle re-enters the atmosphere.
