9 County Stores Busted For Selling Tobacco Products To Minors

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office recently conducted a tobacco sting operation, now 9 stores are facing the possibility of losing their ability to sell tobacco products. Over the past six months, investigators say the stores were caught selling tobacco products to minors. Sheriff’s officials say the businesses are subject to administrative penalties, including suspension of their ability to sell tobacco and a $1,000 fine for each offense.
