Firefighters Make Quick Work Of Brush Fire

Cal Fire firefighters were called out to a brush fire along Highway 41 near the Cholame ‘Y’ yesterday afternoon. Officials say fire crews had the flames fully contained in about 40 minutes. The fire charred about two acres and no injuries were reported. The cause is currently under investigation, Officials say, it should serve as a reminder for residents to be prepared for the upcoming wildfire season.
