A day at the Oceano Dunes with friends turned tragic Friday afternoon. Oceano Dunes officials say a 35-year-old Sacramento man died after apparently being ejected from his ATV. The man was found unresponsive at the bottom of a dune at around 2 p.m. by a maintenance worker. He called rangers to the scene who performed CPR until Cal Fire crews arrived. The man would be pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
