A Santa Maria couple was arrested in Orcutt on suspicion of child endangerment. According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, a person who lives near the intersection of Kit Way and Glines Avenue in Orcutt reported a suspicious vehicle. When deputies arrived, they found 23-year-old Justin Dacanay, 23-year-old Alondra Olivia, and a 6-month-old baby in the car. Dacanay and Olivia were arrested for a number of drug charges and the child was put in the care of Child Welfare Services. Bail for the couple was set at 100,000 dollars each.
