A Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office employee was the driver involved in a head-on crash near Lake Cachuma over the weekend. Javier Antunez, a custody lieutenant at the Santa Barbara County Main Jail, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday night. Seven people were injured in the crash with four people being taken to area hospitals. One person was last reported in critical condition. CHP officials say the investigation is ongoing. Antunez is currently on administrative leave.
