Two Santa Maria men with alleged gang affiliations are headed to prison. Sergio Rosales and Brayan Vazquez, both entered plea deals. Rosales, who was 17 when the pair tried to carjack a couple at Pirate’s Cove in February, pleaded no contest to second-degree robbery. That charge carries special gun and gang enhancements. He could receive a total of 13 years in state prison. Vazquez pleaded no contest to felony attempted carjacking and is currently spending the next two years at Wasco.
