California Governor Gavin Newsom said he sympathizes with Californians forced to live without electricity because of outages meant to reduce fire threats. The Governor visited Seniors in Napa Valley yesterday – where residents in some areas have been at least four days without power. Newsom said he recognizes that losing power can be a health hazard for those who depend on medical devices, and faulted the Pacific Gas and Electric for not being clear about its outage plans.
