CHP investigators believe heavy rains may have played a part in a deadly crash on the 101 over the weekend. Authorities say the driver if a Lincoln Navigator lost control of the SUV and hit a tree just south of Highway 58. 51-year-old Maria Guadalupe Toldeo was pronounced dead at the scene. Four others were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
