Fire investigators in Arroyo Grande say a house fire that broke late Monday afternoon was sparked by a drug conversion lab. Police and firefighters were called out to a report of a house fire on the 100 block of Brisco Road at around 4:30. According to an A.G.P.D. press release the blaze was caused by a drug conversion lab in the kitchen. A resident was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. The investigation was turned over to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Special Operations Unit. The resident will be facing numerous drug charges.
