A man is in jail this morning after a 19-year-old Lompoc woman was found dead in her apartment. Police answered a call about an unresponsive female at about 11:15 yesterday morning. Officers found the victim with a single gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Following an investigation, her boyfriend 20-year-old Brenden Michael Terry was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with helpful information about this case is asked to contact the Lompoc P.D.
