Two Santa Maria men wanted for attempted murder were arrested over the weekend. According to a news release from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, They tried to kidnap a driver at knife-point in Maricopa on Sunday. The driver escaped unharmed. Authorities caught up with the 20-year-old Moses Abeyita and 21-year-old Feliciano Ramirez. Both are currently in Kern County jail.
