Firefighters in San Luis Obispo County were busy yesterday. A vegetation fire in Atascadero broke out after a car got stuck on some rocks. The flames charred about 10 acres, destroying an outbuilding, while fire crews saved several homes. According to KSBY, Firefighters were also called out to a brush fire near Morro Bay’s dog beach. The fire scorched roughly 2 acres. And a small fire near Peachy Canyon Road and Narnia Way was quickly doused. Fire officials remind everyone, now’s the time to create defensible space around your home.
