The San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission has unanimously approved a project that could bring new jobs to Nipomo. A new Wendy’s, Tractor Supply, Grocery Outlet, and O’Reilly’s Auto Parts are slated to built on a 5-acre parcel off Frontage Road that used to be home to the Nipomo Rec Center back in the 90’s. A makeshift skatepark is currently on the property, but County Parks officials say a new park is in the works.
