Allan Hancock College has been awarded federal grant money that could help students save money on their higher education. The grant is intended to help students with the cost of textbooks and other course materials considered barriers for students. Hancock is part of a consortium of four colleges that hope to save students more than 2.2 million dollars in textbook costs over the next three years.
