The San Luis Obispo couple swept up in 2019 during the frantic search for former police chief Deanna Cantrell’s misplaced gun will be spending some time behind bars. A tip led officers to the home of Cheyne Orndoff and Vanessa Bedroni. According to prosecutors, officers found squalid conditions, and drug paraphernalia, but no gun. The couple pleaded no contest child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance. Sentencing is set for April 13th.
