The trial of an Uber driver accused of sexually assaulting five women continues this week. Alfonso Alarcon Nunez of Santa Maria is facing 13 felony charges, including rape and burglary. The case involves five alleged victims and began in 2017 when two victims were assaulted after being dropped off after a show in SLO. An investigation led to more victims and Alarcon Nunez’s arrest. He’s due back in court on Wednesday.
