The Monterey County Sheriff’s office has identified the body discovered at the repair site on Highway 1 near Big Sur Wednesday morning. Investigators i.d.’d the woman as 64-year-old Nancy Algert of Templeton. Foul play doesn’t appear to have played a part in her death, but an autopsy and toxicology report should shed some light on the manner and cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
