Morro Bay City officials held a question-and-answer session with the company that wants to build the world’s largest energy storage system in Morro Bay. Vistra Energy has proposed building a 22-acre power plant that would use battery storage to create renewable energy. Public questions ranged from potential environmental issues to basic energy savings. If approved Vistra Energy says construction could begin as soon as next year.
