The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 17-year-old from San Luis Obispo County. Authorities identified the victim as Santiago Maldonado Martinez of Shandon. He was found in a vehicle that was parked near Los Olivos on March 7th. Investigators have released limited details, but they do say the teen’s death was a homicide.
