Atascadero Boy Scout Troop 51 is having an impact on the North County homeless population. Troop members gathered hygiene product donations and created more than 30 hygiene kits. According to KSBY, the kits include socks, underwear, toothbrushes, shampoo, and other essential supplies. The scouts presented the hygiene kits to the ECHO homeless shelter yesterday afternoon.
