Investigators believe they are closer to finding the remains of Kristin Smart, who has been missing since 1996. According to court documents obtained by the Tribune, investigators believe her remains were recently moved after being buried beneath a deck at the home of Ruben Flores. The 80-year-old Flores has pleaded not guilty to a charge of accessory after the fact. He’s due in court today for a bail reduction hearing. His son Paul Flores, who is charged with the murder of Kristin Smart is being held without bail.
