Despite the protests by hundreds of Paso Robles residents, sewer rates are on the way up. The 63 percent hike will be spread over a 5-year period. City officials say the rate hike is needed to help pay for three major infrastructure projects the city has completed or will be starting soon. On average, Paso Robles sewer rates are about 46.80. The rate hikes will top out at an average of 76.38 by 2025.
