Earlier this week, California fully reopened. But the question about wearing masks at work still lingered. Yesterday, Cal/OSHA approved a clearer set of rules for vaccinated people in the workplace. The new rules go into effect immediately, but with some stipulations. Employers will be required to ask for, and document the vaccination status of their employees. Employers are also not required to accommodate somebody who is not vaccinated unless that person has a religious affiliation or disability that prevents them from being vaccinated.
