Santa Maria police investigators have i.d.’d a suspect, they believe was involved in a deadly shooting last month. The shooting was first reported on May 16th. When officers arrived in the area of Lincoln and Mill streets, they found 19-year-old Mario Angel Merino Gonzalez dead in the street. Police are now asking for the public’s help in locating 21-year-old Alfredo Alaniz, Jr… He’s 5-10, weighing about 210 pounds with black hair and green eyes.
