A wildfire is burning out of control in Monterey County this morning. The Willow Fire has scorched nearly 2100 acres in the Los Padres National Forest near Big Sur since Thursday. According to a press release, firefighters have been hampered by steep terrain and safety concerns. Homes, cabins ranches, and historical sites are being threatened and evacuation orders are in place. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
