The Paso Robles School District discussed the possibility of banning critical race theory in the district’s classrooms. The board posted its resolution online claiming Critical Race Theory is an ideology that assigns moral fault to individuals and therefore is itself a racist ideology. Supporters of CRT say it’s a conversation that needs to happen in the classroom to be better informed. According to KSBY, district officials will hold a special meeting to discuss the matter further before voting.
