The Biden Administration’s Invest in America Act could help fund transportation projects in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. According to Congressman Salud Carbajal’s Office, 20 million dollars would directly fund local priority projects. $11 million would go to the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments for Highway 101 improvements between Santa Barbara and Montecito. 5 million would go to the SLO Transit Authority for electric busses. And $4 million would help build a bike path between Morro Bay and Cayucos.
