Pismo Beach Police say a man, who may have been suffering from PTSD was taken into custody Saturday afternoon. According to police, 46-year-old Lucas Rose entered a neighbor’s apartment. Went to a bedroom holding a baseball bat and put the person in a chokehold. A roommate called 9-1-1. When officers arrived, Rose told them he wasn’t going to go peacefully. He threw several items at police from his balcony, including a microwave, and a glass bowl. SWAT negotiators were able to get him to surrender. He was booked into County Jail, where he will also receive mental health services.
