A Templeton man led San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Deputies on a day-long foot pursuit Saturday. Officials say, deputies responded to a report of a man threatening to harm a group of people and himself at around 5 a.m. at Franklin Hot Springs. Deputies made contact with 24-year-old Bunker Greff, but he fled. Deputies located him a short time later, but lost sight of him. A reverse 911 was sent to residents in the area advising them to shelter in place. At around 8:45 someone called to report a man matching Greff’s description. He was eventually taken into custody and booked into County Jail.
